For a typical family of four, an electric kettle usually uses about 1.8 to 2 kWh of electricity daily to bring water to a boil. Intrix One Tap operates very efficiently. In its Eco mode, it sips a mere 0.6 to 0.8 kWh per day. That’s a significant savings of up to 80% less energy consumed compared to your average kettle, making it a smart and eco-friendly choice for your household.

Installation

Our standard installation includes setup and commissioning of your new Intrix One Tap system, provided there are suitable power and water connections within 1 meter of the installation site. Please note, this does not include fixture modifications or plumbing adjustments.

For standard installation, all you need is:

  • A 10A power outlet below the counter

SAFETY & MAINTENANCE

Water reaches boiling point at different temperatures at different pressures.
At 100 °C, boiling water turns into steam and can easily cause the tap to sputter.
INTRIX One Tap limits the temperature at 98 °C without compromising boiling point to ensure safety for consumer use.

The Intrix One Tap has been rigorously tested, inspected, and approved by SIRIM (Malaysia) for both water and electrical safety. It has also passed stringent tests for Australia’s WaterMark Certifications and meets European and UK standards, including the UK’s Water Regulations Approval Scheme (WRAS).

The tap is heat-proof to the touch and features automatic temperature and altitude calibration to prevent sputtering. Its advanced child-proof press-and-turn activation system ensures that children cannot access boiling water without supervision. Additionally, in the event of a water supply shortage, the Intrix One Tap is designed to prevent overheating or dry burn.

Our 3-stage nano filter cartridge is compact yet powerful, featuring sediment filters, activated carbon block filters, and nanofiltration membranes. This advanced design effectively removes microbes as small as 0.01 micron, along with up to 99.99% of bacteria, algae, and viruses, while preserving the natural minerals in the water.

The Intrix filter cartridge is certified to international water safety standards NSF 42, 53 & 401. Our filters are also Halal certified.

Intrix filters are designed to be 95% recyclable with more than 80% wastage reduction, supporting our corporate sustainability goals to minimise environmental impact.

Intrix filter boasts a substantial 23,000 litre capacity and we recommend replacing the filter once every 12 months.*

The lifespan of a water filter cartridge is dependent on the household water usage and ultimately the contaminants contained in the incoming water.

*On average, a family can expect their filter system to deliver filtered water for 12 months (however this timeframe can be shorter if your incoming water contains high levels of contaminants).

Intrix One Tap is engineered for minimal maintenance, needing an annual filter cartridge replacement during the warranty period.* It is important to note that while the system is designed to deliver dependable performance, the warranty does not cover standard wear and tear over time.
